People are looking for a way to take action, to do something other than donate on the Turnpike on their way to work, which seems impersonal.

They're all artists that I know and have played for me over the years. They're gracious enough to donate things.

People expect you to take corrective action when there's a problem, and they don't understand why you don't do it on a pretty prompt basis. My instinct is that's the single best thing you can do.

If someone does not have a specific charity they would like to donate to, that's OK. An undesignated donation would be split up evenly amongst all the charities supported by the Annapolis Area Complex.
