People are playing with each other, and its fun. You just want it to sound good.

I like to hear what everyone else is playing.

I think it's pure. There's no amplification, and it sounds a lot better than the newer stuff.

You get hooked just watching it. It's fun to watch and people of all ages who can do it. I've yet to meet anybody who had done it and hasn't liked it.

I want people here. I want it to be a community event, a fun event.

That's part of the excitement, too - it's fun to be around new people and learn. After awhile, being with the same guys, you have the same ideas and the same discussions year-in and year-out. So it's kind of nice being around fresh thoughts and ideas. It makes you think about some things that maybe in the past you didn't have to think about.
