People can call their solid waste district or community office, or an urban forester in the parks and recreation department if they have one, to see if a chipping program is available in their area.

Any community group that has five or six people can call the Board of Education's office and set up for us to come hold an information session, or people can call to find out where they can attend an information session.

I think everyone in this office believes in improving the lives of people in our community and the people around us. That is something I am very passionate about, helping those who wouldn't otherwise be served. ... Everyone should be entitled to this representation.

I think this is going to be great _ not only for the school _ but for the community because the recreation league teams will be able to use it on Sundays. But the main thing is that we don't have to worry about games being postponed the way we have in the past.

The elite level is important but so too is community sport and recreation, including what happens in secondary schools.

They're used to the Valley atmosphere and they have an interest in recreation. It's something that's learned and it's a badge of honor.
