People cannot tell the difference between mercenaries and soldiers because they all wore the same uniform, had the same weapons, spoke the same language and came from the same place.

The more primitive weapons teach what soldiers are supposed to do with the modern weapon.

That is what death is like. It doesn't matter what uniforms the soldiers are wearing. It doesn't matter how good the weapons are. I thought if everyone could see what I saw, we would never have war anymore.

The press today is an army with carefully organized weapons, the journalists its officers, the readers its soldiers. The reader neither knows nor is supposed to know the purposes for which he is used and the role he is to play.

It encourages the soldiers to build their team and to get out there and find people that they would like to serve with, that they would like to go to war with. It compensates them for their time.

The people don't want soldiers to come in here. They won't accept it.
