People don't realize what a grand scope of a kid he is, much less that he is an athlete. He's primarily a diver, but he fits in anywhere.

He can take two or three minutes with me just before an event and listen to what I want him to do and then put it all together and go do it. That's the kind of kid he is.

I tried to go a different direction today for different reasons. And everyone went berserk.

A lot of my guys that you really don't know about that will dictate how things play out at the end of the year were really hot today. Our fourth and fifth swims were really solid across the board, and I had some huge 200 free swims right out the gate. That's going to make life a lot easier for us having some guys fill that role.

He just attacks everything as hard as he can from the minute we start until he runs out of gas, and that's every single practice. We just want to kind of work on maintaining a little bit more.

That's the most fun for me, meeting them, getting to know their life, we've become a family.
