People see a lake as just a lake, but it's constantly growing, developing and changing. A lake is a very complex place.

The program is tailored to the volunteer and what they want to do. They pick and choose what they want to do. We get the volunteers out to learn their lake and share their data with others.

Most people are like a falling leaf that drifts and turns in the air, flutters, and falls to the ground. But a few others are like stars which travel one defined path: no wind reaches them, they have within themselves their guide and path.

What we had was abnormal. People get used to abnormal times and then when they're normal they think there's something wrong.

I'll miss the people most of all.

We need to bring this to some sort of a closure. Some people are putting this off; but, with the deadline and the later price increase, it should encourage them to sign up now.
