People stop and say 'Why are you painting on a building?'

Talent is nothing more than a pursued interest.

It is that rare impressionist painting where people don't judge the light, but rather are judged by it.

People raising families don't know you can't have a painting with a Bible in it (in City Hall). The city never would have done this if we were not in such a climate of fear.

I'd asked around 10 or 15 people for suggestions. Finally one lady friend asked the right question, "Well, what do you love most?" That's how I started painting money.

I think people have to choose between living with contradictions or painting themselves into a corner. I have a lot of contradictions.
