People tend to put every piece of art they own on every piece of art space. It looks terrible. Pick your favorite pieces and rotate them.

People think it's going to make the room look bigger, but it's going to make it look worse.

People can have very good taste and still not know how to pull a room together. They can buy pieces, but their spatial sense is not on target. My goal has been to teach people about decorating. The more information, the better.

By doing that, it creates balance and cohesion.

People just don't seem to get me. Don't understand that I need my space. Always telling me what to do. They think rules and routines and clean hands and your p's and q's will make everything all right. They haven't got a clue.

We are a tiny nation of 1.4 million people and one of the world's fastest shrinking populations. A country like ours will die out if it keeps drinking like this.
