Personally, I would like to see a department store. Nordstrom would be fabulous. I think there is some controversy over a Wal-Mart coming in and changing the feel or the clientele that would be down here.

I think it's sad to see some of the businesses leaving. It seems to me there are a lot of people who come here to shop who work in this area so, I know they're trying to revitalize ... it's too bad to see that happening.

A lot of them can't stand the discipline and they can't get their drugs in the refuge. We can't put them under lock and key because that would be a violation of their human rights.

American journalists go for safe stories. They don't like controversy. They don't like to say, 'I was a witness. I saw this. This is true. This is what happened." You have this constant business where journalists can never be the source; there has to be this anonymous diplomat.
