Personally, it was a big honor for me meeting so many families of the fallen soldiers and hearing their stories.

It's weird just hearing everybody say it. It's quite an honor, it's unbelievable. It makes you look back at your career and it makes me realize how lucky I've been.

My dad and grandpa were in the army and as a country singer you're constantly playing at military bases all across the country and meeting soldiers and their families and hearing their stories.

Hearing those names, all those players are real good players. To be placed with them is a real honor.

Valor never dies as long as brave souls, willingly give their lives for our freedom. Some may take this sacrifice for granted, while parents of these soldiers pray for the safety of their children. These young men and women who protect our great country in battlefields throughout the world fight for our freedom. We must pray for their safe return, and give honor to those who have fallen.
