Politicians are there to try to deal with stuff, but sometimes it's both fortunate and unfortunate that people like us have more... not involvement, but more power in the stuff that we say.

There is more power in unity than division.

There's a lot more power in calm than in vituperation.

The more we deny that we have a dark side, the more power it has over us.

Politicians / power itself / are abject because they merely embody the profound contempt people have for their own lives. One should be grateful to the politicians for accepting the abstractness of power, and ridding others of its burden. This inevitably kills them but they get their revenge by passing onto others the corpse of power.

Power is okay, and stupidity is usually harmless. Power and stupidity together are dangerous".
