Saying something bad about someone before you get to know them is very childish. They could be the only one that sticks up for you one day because they may be "stupid, ugly, or fat" but they have the biggest heart that you couldn't see that day you made fun of them.

Why let someone you don't respect influence the way you think of yourself? If you don't respect them and what they do, you shouldn't let them influence what you think of yourself.
