President Mahmud Abbas on Friday November 11, 2005 laid the foundation stone of the mausoleum of the late president Yasser Arafat,

We reject these words and we do not accept what Sharon said yesterday. No one has any right to cancel issues from negotiations between us and them.

But it will not bring you peace.

We are ready to negotiate with the Israelis if they want on the basis of international legitimacy.

We call on the Israeli government to stop these measures which are only intended to isolate the Palestinian Authority.
