Quite honestly, I feel like we might of had some money in hand if we'd had a consultant.

We just don't have the money. It's a problem that has to be faced, but we're struggling right now just to pay our bills.

If there was money out there for those kind of ads, we'd ask that it be given to the defense fund and not for some attack ads. We don't think that has any place over here.

In enterprise terms, an IT shop cannot just throw money at technology or business problems to make them go away, they need people with a distinct understanding of both the problems and the solutions.

The intent of that money was to provide funds for prevention, treatment, education and cessation programs. And that clearly did not happen in South Carolina. We're ranked 51st in funding for these programs and 51st in (cigarette) tax. The state is doing next to nothing.
