Rationally speaking, blaming one's behavior on alcohol or drugs is like blaming the ladder by which you descended into a pit, or the staircase that took you down to a cellar, for what you found there.

Continuing to play the victim is a self-fulfilling prophecy. Blaming others for your station in life will indeed make you a victim but the perpetrator will be your own self, not life or those around you.

Accountability: If I vote an idiot into power ... who is to blame?

We love to be fucked. Plain and simple. By our government, by our jobs, by our so-called friends who take us for granted. We want to be told want to think because critical analysis is too hard--let someone else do it. We want to be told what to do because this way we can avoid responsibility, that if we fuck up, we can just blame the person who instructed us. What a load of bullshit.

Stop blaming others and start living your life.
