Realistically we started with diving, and it rolled all weekend long. Everybody stepped up and did their part. We had people who weren't expected to score that scored. We didn't win it with any individual. We won it as a team.

This meet is different for everybody. For us, I was looking for a few spots to fill at the end of the year. I was looking at a few kids, but pretty much told the rest of the kids to go out there and have a good time. I just wanted them to see what they are capable of doing. It's kind of a low-stress environment for most of them.

Everybody's goal is to go to the state meet, and a lot of times the girl they are competing with is on their own team. It's not realistic to expect to take four girls in every event, but the most pleasant surprise is we are traveling to Canton with more girls than I expected to have there.

But we may throw Lauren against them this weekend if we get to the finals of the (Capital City Invitational).

Caitlin swam really well this weekend. The Meet of Champions should give her an idea of where she'll be next weekend at the regional club meet she is set to compete at in Boston.

I'm proud of how our guys fought back after last weekend to get back to .500. We moved the ball around the field and some people produced in positions they hadn't played yet.
