Really, that's a cover for creationism, ... Science is limited in studying the natural world and gives its explanations in natural terms.

Creationism is clearly not science. Science cannot deal with the supernatural. Intelligent Design is a crafty way to avoid the issue of a supernatural being, making it appear like science, but it isn't.

To say that something is not science is not to say that it is inherently wrong or bad.

Creationism was consciously trying to model the science on a certain interpretation of Genesis. You don't have anything like that in intelligent design.
