Right now, I think Riverside's the best team in the conference. Despite the score of the game, I think it was our best game so far. We played hard and stayed with them most of the way, but we just ran out of gas in the third quarter.

Early in the game, I thought we missed some chip shots and had some defensive lapses. I thought we handled their pressure pretty well. There were a couple of times we cut it to 10, but we just couldn't get the stops when we needed.

He was going through a really, really tough thing. I saw him right before he approached coach Holmgren, and he was real shook up.

Usually, it takes a funky bounce after a block, but this one came right up and it was, 'Whoa! Look at this! I said, 'This is it,' and started running. You know, high knees and pumping arms, and the guys were blocking for me. It's been since high school that I scored a TD.

I like what we have right now. After having no receivers, it's nice to have some options.
