Road trips in the past have been really fun. Obviously it's a stress academically, but being on a bus with these girls for hours really brings the team together.

Our main thing is to slow them down. It's fun for us to run, but we don't like to see them run.

I'm still in disbelief that we won the big one, ... We have a long road ahead of us, and I just pray every day that the Lord will lead us and guide us with this blessing he has bestowed on us.

For some of our freshmen, especially Shannon [Davis], this will be their first opportunity to play [in real matches]. We've been practicing a lot, but it pales in comparison to actual competition.

I think [the team] played really well tonight.

I loved it. I can't stress enough how fun it was.
