Sadly, it appears that the N.C. House of Representatives is for sale. It is an institution where everything has a price, and Jim Black is the proprietor.

In times when North Carolina needs more money for education and roads and health care, we certainly don't need to funnel money into a legal fund that facilitates Black's indiscretions.

He calls it helping his team. What he is really doing is selling out the people of North Carolina.

Everybody's just so much more relaxed whether it's (in the clubhouse) playing ping-pong or just hanging out in the lounge.

I went out there for five minutes and busted him. I talked (trash) for a day. I'm still trying to heal up. My foot is killing me. Every day my foot hurts.

He'd cuss me out, and then as soon as practice was over, he'd pull me over and told me he needed me to play. It wasn't a disrespect thing, he was just trying to motivate me.
