Sam (Brooks) played a really nice game. He has steadily improved as the season has gone on.

She has steadily improved as this season has gone on. She had a great summer and she keeps on improving every race. She is stronger and more confident and it's fun to watch.

Having gone through the bad days, makes this even sweeter. This is the best season I've ever played in. This is the best team I've played on, without a doubt.

This was the best we've played this season, all three games. We played really well, even the Nacogdoches game (a 1-0 loss). We lost on the scoreboard in that game, not on the field.

That's the best Sam has played this year. It was nice to see her step up and do that. She's been a little inconsistent with her shot, tonight she couldn't miss.

I'm happy with the kids' effort. We played with emotion and purpose. We want to win, but we can live with this. I feel this is the first time (this season) we've taken a step forward. We walk away disappointed with the loss, but we're not distraught. We'll have plenty of opportunities the rest of the way to keep getting better.
