Saying his workers would subsidize enhanced payments for police and fire, I think that is very false.

In general, UTC is doing reasonably well. The Sikorsky workers are well-paid, high-quality workers. But Sikorsky is saying we're doing well, but we're in this competitive environment. I think there's a legitimate concern about health care.

You'll find police officers, FBI agents, postal inspectors and brokers. You'll find construction workers who want a burger at 6 a.m.

I'm glad it's over, but I say fire them all. Fire every one of those workers.

You're going to have pushback from governors, county executives, mayors, fire chiefs, police chiefs all up and down the emergency-management structure who wonder whether the military will become a super domestic responder and who do they respond to, ... Who determines if a state can't handle a disaster? What if a riot happens in a major city? Does a mayor get a call that the 82nd Airborne has just landed in your city? We've got to talk about this.

We have a huge problem out there with police, fire and other emergency communications everywhere. They're outmoded, they don't talk to one another, they don't work in emergencies. And part of the solution to that is this spectrum.
