Scott wants to fight his mandatory challenger [Juan] Guzman but I think he should go to super featherweight. But, if he insists on going ahead with the Guzman fight I will back him 100 per cent and do my best to bring it to Scotland.

I have met Scott Ritter before and I think he's an idealist. I think he wants to believe that everybody's good and the world's going to be safe. But I don't believe there's any real credence to his statements. It looks to me like he's over there courting Saddam Hussein at the wrong time at the wrong place.

I think the big fight down the line for Alex is against Scott Harrison, ... That's the one I'd like to see happen when Scott moves up from featherweight. There's not a lot of love lost between the two guys and I think it would be a tremendous fight for Scottish boxing and a national TV audience. It's a fight I think Alex would win.
