Seeing him throw like that gave me a warm feeling. I wish we had five more just like him.

The way we gave up those five runs after there were two out had something to do with that. We'd scored three runs, but that took the momentum away from us and we struggled to get it back. What surprised me was the way Joel completely lost control of the strike zone. It was like somebody turned a light switch off.

He was so-so. He struggled with his command and didn't throw a lot of strikes. He was behind a lot of hitters.

We might hold him back and just have him throw on the side. But we're not there yet.

It's good to have them throw together. I think they can learn from each other a little bit.

Tonight he was really good. He can get wild and throw a lot of balls. We tried to let him do that, but he didn't.
