Seeing my mom and dad and aunt every weekend really helps because we all talk about it and deal with it in our own way. Just basically help her celebrate what's left of her life and make sure she's happy and always smiling through.

My Aunt Ella and my mom have informed me that we are going to rebuild. And because they are the matriarchs, and they're strong women, we will rebuild it. We're not offered a choice on this. They are the command, and the waters will part. And we'll make it bigger and better than before. I do believe that.

It's so funny because my mom is Thai and my dad is this big American guy - and our food tastes were so similar growing up. He was meat and potatoes, I was meat and potatoes.
