Segregation and affirmative action are identical phenomena which harness state auspices to impose racist dogma.

Self-segregation is an act. This action is passive-aggressive. This form of aggression causes resentment. Resentment eventually becomes hostility. Hostile people commit acts of violence toward their perceived aggressors who in turn, self-segregate further.

Affirmative action was always racial justice on the cheap.

I support affirmative action. I support special measures when you need it.

Some folks of color clamor on about how they don't want their white friends to feel uncomfortable when addressed with the topic of race. Well I say, if they're your friend they'll understand the need. Being uncomfortable leads to action, hopefully affirmative.

To realize that you are smarter than your boss but still must answer to him is an unnerving step in the world of adulthood.
