Omnipotence, omniscience--that's part of the mythology that surrounds the Special Forces....Your guy can walk in the door and promise training in something he personally doesn't know how to do, and not even realize he's bullshitting about his own capabilities. It's a special kind of gullibility....

There are frauds and con men all over the place, we just don't tend to hear about them. But when it happens in Washington and it happens in the middle of the media, the media get interested in it and so you hear about it. I think that's kind of what's going on.
