Selling Japan gets rid of an irritation, but it does not make everything else ok. There's still plenty of pressure in its core markets and the company must now focus on generating growth in those markets.

He's not like some of the quarterbacks we had on those title teams, but he competes and gets the job done.

That's not to say there won't always be pressure points in the selling of mutual funds and other products. It's a situation where compliance personnel and lawyers are going to have to work with the business people to ensure that all regulatory rules are met.

There's a lot of pressure to get things onto the calendar, and probably not everything that gets on the calendar is going to get approved. A lot of people who think they've rolled the stone to the top of the hill will find it rolling back down on them.
