Senator Bradley is choosing to be an echo to Al Gore's voice in proposing policy that Al Gore has already been fighting -- the minimum wage increase, more teachers and tax credits for working poor.

In the autumn, Bradley came out with his policy positions and we entered a compare-and-contrast phase. We're in that same position this week.

They say they can't do this, Al Gore says we can do this. He will do right on behalf of the American consumers for a clean environment and affordable reliable energy.

[Also on Gore's agenda is an initiative proposing assistance to elderly widows.] Anyone who is in the later stages of life needs a support system around them and these women don't have it, ... Demographic studies show that women outlive men, so there is disproportionately large number of elderly women who need help.

Bradley was a terrible senator

The Gore campaign wants the will of the people to be reflected accurately and completely, which will be guaranteed by a manual recount, while the Bush campaign is trying to do everything possible to stop that from happening,
