Separation anxiety is probably the No. 1 crisis I deal with, but the job involves a whole lot more than that.

At the end of the day. I always feel like I haven't met with enough students. There just isn't enough time.

At this level, you certainly want to encourage any enthusiasm. It's not worth it being too judgmental. You try to make analogies between whatever career choice they come up with, and what skills you can learn in school that will help them with that desired profession.

They're my babies. There's some separation anxiety when they get adopted, but I'm always so glad they find homes.

Other reasons might include overeating due to separation anxiety when the child leaves the home, or parents not wanting to criticize their children's eating habits when they are young.

Maybe we tried to leave as much memories of ourselves with each other because we knew one day we wouldn't be together any more.
