Service is an integral part of our school community. Students are involved in countless programs during the school year. This is our attempt to continue that commitment through the summer.

Our students, from the first year of medical school, look for ways in which they can help provide community service, so many of them are already working at homeless shelters or clinics for the disadvantaged. This just brings it closer.

It's very exciting. Not only do our students get 17 days more of school, but they also won't have two months off right in the middle of the school year.

We are seeing outbreaks among middle and high school students whose immunity has waned.

It was exciting to represent my school. I was up against third- and fourth-year pharmacy students. I was pleasantly surprised to do so well.

We've reached over 7,000 students in 16 school districts within Westchester County who have received benefits from (the community outreach programs).
