She did an outstanding job of holding this team together. We didn't win as many games as we wanted, but I thought she did an outstanding job with the short amount of time she had to work with these kids.

It's really not bad for a big tournament. We lost two games by a total of five points. Every one of our district games are going to be close like that.

We're disappointed tonight, but we're still right there. We're dead even and we've both got some big games left to play. This is why I came to Middle Tennessee.

Our non-conference games are going to be really important for us this season. Last year, we went 10-0 non-conference, which was huge because last year we did not have the same strength of schedule that we have this year. Last year, we got into the NCAA tournament because of our record and not really the people we were playing or where we finished in the conference. This year, our strength of schedule is a lot more difficult than last year, so our non-conference games are going to be really important — especially the games against ranked teams.

I'll buy that [we're better], ... That doesn't mean we'll win 105 games. A lot of teams got better. But, yeah, we could be a better team.

I would really enjoy getting to go to some of their games. I think it would be awesome to see them in person.
