She is always asking about her friends and how they are doing. They send her letters and she writes back to them, but you can tell she misses them terribly.

She knows there is someone else out there at home like she is. She stays home because she can't do things and now her teacher is doing the same.

Having the program here on a weekend is a way for parents, who may not be able to get to the fairs, to have their children's information available in case it is needed. I was very pleased to see not only moms, but dads as well. I think the children really enjoyed it. This was a very good learning experience and will help us plan for next year.

Friends will write me letters. They run out of room on the front of the letter. They write 'over' on the bottom of the letter. Like I'm that much of a moron. Like I need that there. Because if it wasn't there, I'd get to the bottom of the page: 'And so Kathy and I went shopping and we--' That's the craziest thing! I don't know why she would just end it that way.
