She opened her home and her Rolodex to us. Anything we needed she could find. It seemed like she was either related to or went to high school with everyone in town.

Ron is the godfather of this movie. He really looked after us while we were in Columbia.

We were so fortunate to shoot in Columbia. We were just overwhelmed by the support offered by the community.

In looking for our historic town square, we scouted in a lot of states. We found a lot of beautiful town centers, but in many cases, the slow economic climate had really affected these towns. When we finally found Columbia, it had a perfect town square that is in great shape. Along the way we discovered that there is such a different texture to Tennessee, that there would have been no way to recreate it in another state.

There have been a couple different families that have come through the home in the past years so it is difficult to keep track.

It's hard to double-team any one of us because someone is always going to be open and they're going to step up.
