She waited so late to decide, and I'm kind of glad, because she had such a stellar senior year. I'm not sure at the beginning of the year that people realized how good a player she was.

She's not the most verbal leader, but she's gonna lead on the court in every other kind of way. She led this younger team to a state championship. Above stats or anything else, that's what really matters.

I think it's neat that the two neighbors are in the Upper State championship. I think it's great for Greenville basketball, regardless of who comes out on top.

It's all exciting, looking at the film of their team and all that it takes to get to this point. But our girls were never nervous. I mean, this atmosphere alone can be very scary. But, they came out here relaxed and dancing. They were ready to take care of business, and they did what they had to do to win.

There wasn't a dry eye in that locker room.
