She wanted to go to church that morning. And she'd put her great granddaughters Christmas gifts in the car. And I guess she'd already grabbed her purse and everything. She told me she turned the car around, and it just burst into flames.

They'll buy hand soaps, shower gels, a lot of gifts for Christmas.

Christmas won't be Christmas without any presents

Just knowing he will not be here Christmas morning when they unwrap the gifts and that type of thing and just Kristin's first Christmas that he will miss out on you know it is real sad. We talk a lot about our reunion and what that will look like and the kids talk about going to the airport and getting daddy. He misses his family. He wants to be here too, but he realizes what he is doing is important, so I just, I am very proud of him and love what he is doing.

Janice Robinson, who contributes Christmas gifts for the children that the center works with, is a friend of mine for many years. She told me that they were having trouble raising funds this year because everyone was contributing to Hurricane Katrina relief.

I love the Christmas-tide, and yet, I notice this, each year I live; I always like the gifts I get, But how I love the gifts I give!
