She was backing out when, for unknown reasons, her 2-year-old daughter ended up getting in the back of the vehicle.

This roadway here has actually a lot of curves. What ended up happening, the driver ended up not being able to negotiate one of the curves and actually ended up over steering to the left, causing the vehicle to lose control.

I've got a 15-year old son and a 10-year old daughter, and if they were going to do one of the following things: be an alcoholic; be a drug offender; beat their wife or husband; or gamble. I hope they would gamble.

The tractor trailer struck the van in the drivers side. Unfortunately the driver was killed on the scene from the impact.

All of that is part of the investigation, which is ongoing.

It happens from time to time, but it's not very common.
