She's a good kid. She is working her tail off and coming to a varsity team, a team that's struggling to rebuild themselves and to take on that position (of setter) is huge.

Amber is a huge asset as far as leadership and talking. She's got the most positive attitude of any of the kids I've coached.

We're struggling, and to beat a good team like Carson on the road is special for us. We hope to make that game a base for us and go on winning. I told the girls we couldn't go 0-4 in conference. We put it together with duct tape, Super Glue and rosin.

We got a glimpse of what can happen, where we can be. And with a very good Colorado team coming to town with a week off, certainly we'll have a tremendous challenge there. But I think being at home, this is a time we've got to build on. We've got to take advantage of it. Seize the day.

We have a lot of events coming up, such as Tennessee Week for the Animals in October. We work closely with the Maryville Animal Shelter, which has been just great.
