Simple solutions rarely are.

The economy has become such a complex horror that there will be no simple solutions and anyone who tells you they know how to fix it is selling you snake oil. Any solution is sure to involve a broad spectrum of measures and will probably involve making things more difficult in the short-term in order to create long-term stability.

Give no heed to anyone who tells you that the problems of our country can be solved by doing something that involves the lower end of the socioeconomic spectrum. That is like looking at someone who cannot walk because of a neurological disorder in their brain and telling them that they need treatment on their feet.

I'd be wary of simple solutions to complex problems.
