Simply, we have a lot of aging equipment. It's not just the machines in the classroom but the equipment in the (network server) closets.

It was a way to destroy political machines -- if voters had a direct say on who was dog catcher and coroner, along with county boards. There was more opportunity for candidates who weren't part of a political machine.

There is a vitality that is starting to emerge that was not there for a while.

From the city's point of view, that's why the Rock Hall was built: to attract people from literally around the world.

I'm not that disappointed (by losing to Bernard) because I've had that pressure of being ranked No. 1. I hated it. You've got that target on your back. Last year, I was ranked fourth, and that's better. No one notices you. You can just go out and wrestle.

Few people travel from a long distance solely for one attraction or one part of an experience. I think the job here is to complement the Rock Hall with other venues that are also attractive. If the Rock Hall has not reached its peak yet, it's because we are not drawing enough to other venues.
