Since I've been here that's the best I've seen the team play. We played as a team tonight.

You don't really look at what kind of goals they scored or what the situation is. You've got to win games - it's not about how many shots you take or save percentage - it's about wins and losses. When you go into the third period up 2-1 as a goal¬tender, you want to win that game.

He knocked it out of midair. It was a rebound off my shoulder. It was just an unfortunate thing. We had a 2-1 lead going into the third period. I believe it's my job to win that game or, at the very least, extend it. So I'm a little disappointed personally, but the team played great. Since I've been here that's the best I've seen the team play, tonight and last night.

I think there's a roomful of guys who were probably second-guessing themselves. Now, you win convincingly like this and you feel like you've got the right pieces to the puzzle.

You can't give them a 13-point (lead) and expect to come back unless you play a perfect game. And we certainly didn't do that.

We had opportunities. That team is good enough that you have to play a perfect game and we didn't do that.
