Since January 2006, we're doing everything on the Internet. We've converted our software to Web-based tools and added mapping capabilities for growers to manage many data layers online. We're totally Web-based.

What I definitely see is technologically-savvy people can replace capital with knowledge. We're seeing more instances of that.

We're able to sense how a crop grows within a field, much like a yield monitor will make a map based on yield. We can create different variable application maps to control different rates of fertilizers and chemicals that are put on the field automatically through a GPS receiver.

I've had a great deal of interest from dealers, consultants and farmers. Auto-steer has become easy to deal with, but we all realize we have to tie information to this.

It's [the Internet] not going to replace everything. It's going to complement most stuff but there are some things it's going to supplant.
