Travel develops one’s awareness, and this reaches deep into the soul. It presents us with boundless opportunities to connect with others, and better still, ourselves.

Be culturally literate, because if you don't have any understanding of the world you live in and the culture you live in, you're not going to express anything to anybody else.

They get a little culture out of it also. And how often do they get to travel with 11 other friends, be away from their parents, in a setting where they still have rules but they also have a little bit of freedom? It's a neat deal.
