So far, our numbers look to be about the same as last year, if you subtract the 300 or so kids from Hurricane Katrina. We won't have our true count until early October.

These aren't hollow, computer-generated numbers. They're there. They're real, I think. This could be a defining year with the conference, if things play out. You need to get over the hump, and once you do, you have a better chance to continue to build on it.

Mathematics have to be reviewed in a very essential point – from a small natural number, sometimes very small, one can subtract, extract numbers as large as the leaders of men require, leaving enough to afford the poor a human existence.

I'll be satisfied with what I've got after the season is over. I don't really have numbers as far as goals. If I can play every day and stay healthy, the numbers will come. But my two main goals are playing every day and staying healthy.
