So far this year that's one thing we've been good at. We come out of the chute and put some runs on the board. The starting pitcher gets something to work with and we keep pushing.

When you have new faces, you have to re-prove yourself. I knew that coming to Spring Training.

It doesn't change how I look at it. Regardless if I have the club made or not, it's not just making the team, it's staying in the big leagues. I want to be here the rest of my career.

I don't think Joel moving to left field means they don't believe in me. He's an exceptional prospect. I can't focus on anything I don't have control over. I can't do anything about that.

Jeff's a leader. He's a leader by the way he plays. He talks to us individually and helps us with our game. I know he's helped me by mentioning things that have been a big help. We all want to play the way he plays.

The last five days I've made some adjustments and changed my stance, and it's helped me quite a bit. I've had some hits going into tonight and that made me feel comfortable up there. I definitely have to keep working, and I won't stop. Even if I'm a regular for the rest of my career, I'll always push the same way I'm doing now.
