So I figured in keeping with the record, I'd do something off the wall which is show up for free and wing it... I don't know, I'm just going to play some songs. I think it'll be fun.

Oddly, when I started to make the record, I wasn't aware I was making a record. I just was sort of disgusted with the whole thing and sequestered myself in the basement and started playing the piano just for something to do.

I think performers are all show-offs anyway, especially musicians. Unless you show off, you're not going to get noticed.

I think Ellen DeGeneres is just hysterical.

I don't like doing 25 songs. I think that just kills the audience. I think the show should be 17, 18, 19 songs and encores.

Obviously, we're all going to die at some point. Whether or not we are fated to die in some way I think is debatable. I just don't know which side to debate.
