So many parents these days are totally cool with their kids living on the couch the whole time. It's like a new thing with families. But you've got to leave the nest and get out there.

I'm hoping to make a new thing for the world that remains in the mind like a new species of living thing.

Kids love robots. They're this fanciful, cool thing.

You basically only discover a new thing once.

And so there I was living in California from Brooklyn, New York, and it was this whole new world for me and I was meeting vegetarians. I thought, let me try this vegetarian thing. I got really into that.

In New York, there are so many potholes, they're like craters on the moon. That's another traffic thing.
