So much of it is economics. Everything we deal with within a community is, it comes down to, in one way or another, to economics.

Baptist-Lutheran has served as an important part of the community for many years and will continue to serve it's outpatient needs moving forward. Ninety percent of patients who visit Baptist-Lutheran utilize its outpatient services, which is why those services will remain open.

It is an economic fact that predicting the future is most valuable when everybody thinks you are wrong

We need a public hospital for our community. [Officials] kept saying they weren't going to close it, but now we're faced with it again.

I think five dollars is a modest amount and an overall benefit for the campus community is definitely worth this mild contribution.
