I understand that some debt disappears. But this steep incline ... this is serious stuff.

A national debt, if it is not excessive, will be to us a national blessing.

I don't like the term rebuilding, but this will be a learning experience. If you are starting from the beginning, it's best to be really young. If only some of our younger talent pans out, we can be strong again down the road.

So this should bring all of us together and a certain synergy and productivity that we think would be enhanced by everybody being together.
