Some have been put in contact with local church groups from contacts back home, some have family members in Arizona; it runs the gamut.

Home is the wallpaper above the bed, the family dinner table, the church bells in the morning, the bruised shins of the playground, the small fears that come with dusk, the streets and squares and monuments and shops that constitute one's first universe.

They've been through some pretty traumatic experiences back home. Tucson is probably a community that most of them are pretty unfamiliar with.

The church that I go to might just as well be my home. The people I go to church with are more like family. Where else can I get this show of love?

This was home for him, I think, and what's sad to me, aside from the loss to his family, is that he was going to reap the rewards for the things he had done. The next six months were going to a lot of fun for him. He had some really good times ahead.
